Milorad Pavic

The Serbian writer, poet and historian Milorad Pavic passed away on Monday, at the age of 80. His works have been translated into several languages. Perhaps one of the most popular being The Dictionary of the Khazars. I’ve read some of his short stories and began reading The Last Love in Constantinople but I admit I struggled with his prose.

  1. Fr. bless!

Memory Eternal for mr. Pavic. There is a local lawyer of same name. 🙂 I must ask him. I tried to look up his poetry, but could find nothing in English. All the same, I told my friend Tamara (of Kosovo) and Aleksandar of Pristina and they were both very sad and shocked. I am going to church tomorrow and will light a candle for him.

(suzanne wishes she could read Serbian. 😦 )

    In Christ,
    S.
